Cirque du Soleil was set to debut their new show at Disney Springs titled Drawn to Life, an homage to Disney animation, in April of 2020. Naturally, the pandemic shut-down forced the acrobatic company to delay its launch, layoff 95% of its workforce, issue refunds to all ticket holders, and finally file for bankruptcy on June 30th. The pandemic’s economic toll has not been unfelt for many industries and performance arts is one of the hardest hit.
Despite the bankruptcy, Cirque du Soleil is not yet closing their doors forever. They have announced on July 1st that tickets for Drawn to Life in the renovated Disney Springs Cirque du Soleil theatre will have its first performance on November 5th, 2020 and run through December 31st, 2020.

Any previous ticket holders will need to repurchase for the rescheduled dates. All showtimes are at 5:30 PM Tuesday – Saturday and start at $79 dollars, and it’s strongly recommended to get tickets and reservations in advance. You can purchase tickets on the Cirque du Soleil website here, or by calling 855-473-7783.
